Digital media techniques for business development in the contemporary visual arts sector

For Pamela’s UK client Culture Sparks, we managed communication requirements for this trailblazing project which has, for the first time, actively mapped the audience for contemporary visual arts in Glasgow, while also identifying the potential for galleries to collaborate and cross-sell to develop existing and new audiences.
The project has identified audience buying behaviours and opportunities for cross-selling to additional cultural and tourism events, and quantified potential audience appetite for experiencing new work – through new potential funding routes including crowd sourcing – thereby uncovering new revenue streams made available through digital audience engagement.
Our team devised and executed the full communications strategy to convey the success and future business development potential of this first digital media-driven audience development project for the visual arts sector in Glasgow.
